Free Welcome Clinics are usually held at least twice per season, often on a Saturday in December and January. The program is advertised throughout Venture Out and held on Courts 7 & 8. The Clinics are open to anyone, particularly non-members, of any skill level from beginner to advanced. Club member volunteers typically provide some instruction while encouraging attendees to join the Club.  

The Welcome Clinic for the first half of the 2024-25 season will be announced as early as possible. 

Two free Beginner Lessons are offered to non-members, while members may attend as many Beginner Lessons as desired. Again, the schedule for 2024-25 will be announced early in the season. For 2023-24, they were offered Mondays and Tuesdays from 3:30 to 4:30 PM on Court 1 at the Tennis Center. 

Beginner members are also welcome to attend the Friday 1.5 Play and Practice session, located at Court 1 at the Tennis Center. Times will be announced early in the season. A nominal fee is charged if the player wishes to participate in the group coaching sessions held by a USTA professional coach. Again, days when coaching is offered will be announced early in the season.
